Isle of Man TT racer’s bid to boost visitor numbers from USA

AN American TT racer is doing his bit to boost visitor numbers to the festival.

Brandon Cretu, a three-time Isle of Man TT competitor who earned a bronze replica in 2011, has added information about travelling to the island and spectating tips to his website, www.brandoncreturacing.com

He said: ‘I think I have written the same email over a hundred times answering a basic set of questions that nearly everyone has so I figured what better thing to do than add a simple FAQ to my website.’

He added: ‘People might wonder why I might bother putting the time and effort into doing this but anyone that actually knows me would understand completely.

‘I am so passionate about the TT and it is a huge part of my life. I can honestly say it has shaped who I am and helped me meet so many great people who I now consider good friends.

‘I want to help grow the TT here in the USA and make it something that every motorcycle enthusiast here wants to go and see once in their lives.’
