Jaks in Douglas has now re-opened to members of the public following a fire at the premises on Wednesday.
It re-opened this afternoon and will have live music tonight. The restaurant is also open and all existing bookings that have been made from today onwards are being honoured.
In a statement Jaks said: ‘We would like to thank a number of people who have gone out of their way to help us since the fire on Wednesday night including the MEA, Ardern and Druggan, the Isle of Man Fire Service and perhaps most importantly our staff who have done a fantastic job of helping to clean up and get us open again. Once again we would also like to say thank you to our loyal customers and other Manx residents who have sent us their kind messages of support in recent days.
‘We look forward to seeing all of our loyal customers again soon at Jaks.’
