Jury returns verdict on prisoner’s death

Jurby prison

The jury at an inquest into the death of a prisoner at Jurby prison has concluded that his death was accidental, with the cause contributed to by neglect.

Michael Joseph Davidson died, aged 26, in his cell with the cause of death established as toxicity due to a combination of methadone, dihydrocodeine and diazepam.
