THE partnership between Robinson’s and Post-a-Rose has marked its second anniversary.
In that time, more than one million roses have been sold.
The new business - which saw the acquisition of Post-a-Rose by Robinson’s - was first unveiled in November 2009.
The affiliation has proven a great success, with around 1,077,600 roses sold so far.
Introducing a wide variety of some of the region’s most popular flowers, the product range has been well-received by the public.
Mark Hotchkiss, head of the floristry division at Robinson’s, said: ‘Since the amalgamation of Robinson’s and Post-a-Rose, the demand for locally sourced flowers has risen significantly.
‘Our online service allows customers to order from a huge range of fresh flowers, fruit baskets and hampers that can be delivered by post anywhere on the island and throughout the UK.
‘As a local business, we feel it is important to maintain and support healthy relationships with a number of local organisations. Because we source all of our flowers direct from the growers, we are able to cut out the middle man and provide fresh and affordable flowers to the local community.
‘We look forward to a great partnership in the coming years to allow Robinson’s and Post-a-Rose to blossom in the future.’
