A Douglas man has admitted drugs offences following the seizure of cannabis with a street value of £110,000.

James Francis William Quayle, aged 24, of Woodbourne Road, Douglas, pleaded guilty to the production of cannabis to the island and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

He also admitted a third charge of possessing cannabis at his home address,

He was arrested after arriving by sailing boat at Port St Mary Harbour at 2.10am on Thursday.

Quayle was remanded to June 9, when he will be committed to the court of General Gaol Delivery.
