Man approaches youths in Ramsey town centre

Police in Ramsey are trying to reassure the public after reports in the town of a man who approached a group youths in Parliament Street and offered them his phone number.

The matter was reported to police shortly afterwards, along with comments made on social media by a concerned parent.

Police say they have identified the man concerned and are making inquiries into the matter.

If any other members of the public have been approached in this way, they should contact Ramsey police station on 812234.
