Manx Litfest Narnia event goes ahead - but hogroast falls victim to weather

TODAY’S Narnia meets Middle-Earth family fun day at Castle Rushen is going ahead as scheduled as Manx Litfest enters its final day.

However, the director of the literature festival, John Quirk, would like those attending to know the hogroast will not be part of the proceedings as the blustery weather means the marquee cannot be erected.

The festival began on Thursday and concludes this evening.

See this week’s Isle of Man Examiner and Manx Independent for pictures, reports, reviews and reaction.
