Medicine is stolen from an occupied house

PRESCRIBED medicine was stolen in a burglary of an occupied house.

The culprit crept unnoticed into the house on Church Lane, Jurby, sometime between the early evening of Monday last week and the early hours of Tuesday morning

This burglary is being investigated by officers from northern neighbourhood policing team, supported by officers from the Criminal Investigations Department, based at police headquarters in Douglas.

Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area of Church Lane, who noticed anything suspicious to come forward.

Constable Blair Hunt said: ‘The house holder was at the home when the crime occurred and was clearly left distressed by this crime. We would be grateful for any information that might assist in bringing this case to a successful conclusion.’
