Missing lemur spotted in Sulby

A ring-tailed lemur that escaped its enclosure at the Curraghs Wildlife Park last Monday may have been spotted in Sulby.

A driver reported seeing the animal sitting on a driveway near the water treatment works in Sulby Glen on Saturday, describing it as looking ‘bright and perky’ despite five days in the wild.

Members of the public are asked to report any possible sightings by calling 897323.
