The government’s income tax division is encouraging more people to use online services before the usual rush of tax returns in April.
Almost one in five individual taxpayers now submits his or her tax returns online.
A spokesman said: ‘There are a wide range of existing services which allow people to receive tax returns, assessments, tax codes and letters electronically and calculate their tax liability immediately after completing their online return.
‘Users can also review their balances, pay their tax bills and receive refunds of income tax overpayments paid directly into their bank account.’
To register, go to www.gov.im/onlineservices and then follow the links to enrol for tax services where video guides can also be viewed to assist.
