Police appeal after Dolly Tub laundrette is targeted by thieves

Police are appealing for help after a large amount of cash was taken and a window smashed during a burglary at a Douglas laundrette.

Constable Donna Kearns from Central Neighbourhood Policing Team is probing the incident at The Dolly Tub in Bathurst Street, Douglas.

She said it happened some time between 5pm on Monday, February 24 and 7.55am on Tuesday February, 25. She confirmed a large amount of cash was taken and a window was smashed.

PC Kearns said: ‘Police are keen to hear from anybody who may have information, or witnessed anything at the time.

‘If you have any information regarding this matter, then please contact police immediately.’
