Police are investigating an act of vandalism in Douglas over the bank holiday weekend.

The park wall of Derby Square Park was attacked between Friday afternoon and Tuesday morning.

A number of stones were removed from the dry stone wall, causing it to become unstable.

Constable Kelly Wilkinson is appealing for anyone with information about this to come forward.

A spokesman said: ‘The police would like to offer reassurance to the public that such matters of petty vandalism are taken seriously as they impact on the community.’
