Police renew appeal over nightclub assault

POLICE have renewed an appeal for information on an alleged serious assault outside Colours nightclub in Central Promenade in Douglas.

In the incident, which occurred in the early hours of August 1, a 31-year-old man suffered serious facial injuries.

It took place near the cloakroom of the club.

Police say a man of 'Oriental' appearance and medium build is believed to have been involved.

Anyone who may be able to help police with inquiries should contact police headquarers on 631212 or contact the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.

Police believe there would have been a number of witnesses at the time.
