Prescriptions regulations withdrawn from Tynwald

PROPOSALS to charge more people for prescriptions and dental work will not go before this week’s Tynwald after all.

Health bosses blame a ‘technical error’ after they had to withdraw the regulations from the court.

The National Health Service (Charges for Drugs and Appliances) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 and the National Health Service (Dental Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 will now be submitted to the April sitting of Tynwald.
