The Northern Networking Group will be holding another information day to promote the range of services available to older people.
It follows the success of the first event, which was held in November.
The next Northern Information Day will take place on Friday, June 27, at Ramsey Town Hall, from 10am to 3pm.
Ramsey Commissioners have set aside the whole building for the event – meaning that more agencies will be able to join in.
Maria Clinton, a social worker in the Older Persons Community Social Work Team explained: ‘The aim of the day is to promote services available to older people in the community so that they can remain independent, empowering them to make appropriate live choices to suit their needs.’
Speaking before the first event, she said there were many people in the north who didn’t know what support services were available to them.
Any organisations that are interested in taking part should contact Maria Clinton on 686432 or firstname.lastname@example.org
