If you have Northern Irish fans of motorcycle road racing staying over the TT festival then Manx National Heritage would like to speak to them.
An exhibition is currently in the planning stages for 2015 entitled Ulster’s TT Heroes.
A statement from MNH poses the follwing questions: ‘Why do you make the pilgrimage to the Isle of Man every June? What is it about racing on the roads that hooks you in? Have you grown up worshipping Tom Heron, Phil McCallen, Robert Dunlop and Joey? What is it about the roar of a Superbike and the smell of hot tyres on tarmac that gets you excited?’
A team from MNH will be in the House of Manannan in Peel on Thursday (May 29) from 1pm to 5pm to record people’s thoughts.
Ulster’s TT Heroes exhibition is a collaboration between Ballymoney Museum and MNH.
It will be open to the public in March next year at the House of Manannan.
