The politicians who are considering whether to relax the rules and allow towed caravans on to Manx roads are looking for people with views about the subject.
Tynwald last week established a Select Committee on towed caravans.
They will consider and to report to Tynwald about the likely advantages and disadvantages of encouraging towed caravan use in the island, with special reference to the possibilities for the encouragement of tourism, the utility or otherwise of creating a non-residential caravan park and the need for regulating the entry on to the island and usage of caravans.
The committee is made up of Geoff Corkish MLC, Alex Downie MLC and David Quirk MHK.
Mr Downie as its chair.
Submissions to the committee should be sent so as to arrive by 5pm on Thursday, July 10.
You can email firstname.lastname@example.org or write to the committee at Committee Secretariat, Legislative Buildings, Douglas, IM1 3PW
Respondents are asked to indicate clearly whether or not they are content for their submissions to be published.
The committee will come up with recommendations which will then go before Tynwald before any decision is made.
