THE temperature dropped as low as minus 2.5C on Sunday night.
A Met Office spokesman said it was the ‘first proper frost of the winter’.
At the Met Office’s base at Ronaldsway, the temperature dropped to 3C.
But at Ellerslie, in Crosby, the mercury plummeted to -2.5C. Yesterday (Monday) morning, there was a frost in most places. The Met Office warned that there was a small risk of icy patches on the roads, so the police urged motorists to drive with care.
