The TT seemed to get the royal seal of approval when Prince William tried out a Norton motorcycle for size.
He was attending the Motorcycle Live exhibition in Birmingham, where the Isle of Man was heavily promoted.
It cannot have escaped his attention that the stand also promoted the Isle of Man TT Races, as this photograph, taken by Dave Kneen of ManxPhotosOnline, shows.
The duke has been a keen biker from a young age and currently owns a 1199cc Ducati.
Motorcycle Live organiser, Dean Linehan, said: ‘The Duke of Cambridge demonstrated the same levels of enthusiasm for motorcycling that is shared by all the show’s visitors. We’re positive that this will give the entire UK motorcycle industry an important boost for 2014 and beyond.’
