A Galloway bull came out on top when it was crowned the highly coveted title of Supreme Champion at this year’s Royal Manx Agricultural Show.

The bull named Klondyke Powerplay, which is owned by John and Alison Teare of Bride, was chosen by judge Peter Dale.

Thousands attended the two-day event on Friday and Saturday, which was held for the third year at Knockaloe Farm in Patrick.

Visitors were treated to a wide range of entertainment, which included a jousting show, display from the police dog unit, and parades of vintage machinery and classic cars. Competition was fierce in a variety of different classes in the livestock contests.
