Police believe a vehicle was damaged in a hit-and-run incident in a public car park.
The incident happened between around 9.30am and 2.15pm on Sunday.
The silver Ford was parked in the car park at the rear of Port Erin police station
A police spokeman said ‘This has left the owner of the vehicle with a costly repair bill running in to four figures.
‘Drivers are reminded of their statutory obligations to notify the owner of any vehicle involved in this type of collision or if this is not practical to notify the police within 24 hours of the collision taking place.’
Constable Robin Arnold, who is based at Port Erin police station, asked that anyone with any information should contact him on 832222.
