Manx Telecom is warning about a scam that’s affected customers who use manx.net email.

A scam email has been sent to a number of @manx.net email addresses today.

The company said: ‘This is a new type of scam in that it it asking you to login to retrieve a pending emails. Do not click the link enclosed in the email, nor enter your details on the scam site - which is a spoof of manx.net.’

It asked customers who have entered their details on that site to contact its service centre on 624624.

Dear Manx User,

We have placed your three incoming mails on pending status due to the newest update to our server in order to serve you better.

Click here to login and wait for response from our email support team in order to receive the pending new messages.

We are really sorry for any inconveniences we might have caused with this newest update.
