A wet and windy couple of days but a fine weekend is the latest weather prediction from the meteorological office.
A spokesman at Ronaldsway said today and tomorrow would be wet with rainfall of 25 to 35mm (about one and a half inches), the heaviest rain over high ground.
‘It’s going to be on and off for most of the day and it will continue through into Friday as well,’ he said.
Conditions will improve during Friday and a good weekend is promised with fine weather on Saturday and Sunday with some sunshine.
Blustery conditions are also expected today and tomorrow but strengths will only reach force five or six with a maximum of seven so ferry services are likely to be unaffected.
