How does QE affect the island?

Over the last few years, the Bank of England has introduced millions of pounds of virtual money into UK banking systems by the Quantitative Easing (Q.E) mechanism. My concerns are that QE fundamentally devalues the UK pound by diluting its value, the Isle of Man MUST suffer as a consequence of QE and wonder what steps our government have taken to limit our exposure?

Maybe one of your readers can reply to my question to clarify our position as it seems we are sleepwalking into a financial grave that a small economy like our can not afford.
