Why cycle in black?

AFTER two such high profile cyclist tumbles, why do Manx cyclists continue to be clad from head to toe in black?

Today’s were riding along roads which were awash with low cloud and rain still quite heavy. If a slight frost had been added to the equation, I dread to think what the result might have been. Surely, every cyclist should wear at least one piece of high visibility clothing. This is especially important on country roads where there are so many corners and thus little warning for a driver. Another worry, especially in winter, are drivers who imagine that side lights cut through fog. They don’t!
