It is that time of year again when the Great Glen Maye Duck Festival will take place.
The event will kick off on Saturday, May 4 between 1pm to 4pm in the national glen in Glen Maye.
There is something on offer for everyone, including duck related stalls, duck games, face painting, treasure hunt, a barbecue and a fun duck racing tournament down the glen near the lower picnic site.
If you would like to take part in the tournament you can bring your trained ducks, decorated or plain, plastic or rubber ducks. No China ducks, live ducks of powered ducks are allowed.
Entrance fee on the day is £1 and all entrants in the first race at 2pm will also be entered into the last race at 3.30pm. The Isle of Man Steam Packet, have kindly donated a return ticket for a car and 2 passengers for the main prize.
All proceeds on the day will go to Glen Maye Chapel’s community centre project.
