A RECORD number of 346 entries have been received for the End to End Walk on Sunday week, September 25.
The previous best was in 2003 when there were 313 entries.

Last year's winner Robbie Callister tops the list once again and should start as a clear favourite in the absence of twice Parish Walk runner-up Sean Hands who has had injury problems since his recent 100-mile success in the south of England.

There's a comeback for veteran Parish Walk record holder Derek Harrison in the over-65 men's category.

Today's Vote

Is it acceptable for the DHSS to ask Tynwald to shore up a £8.5m overspend in its budget, due to increased activity at Noble’s, more patient referrals to the UK, children in care, more unemployment and expensive drugs, reduced NHI receipts?
Yes. If health chiefs have worked out this money needs to be spent then it must be found.
No. Health chiefs should be providing a top quality service without such a large overspend.
I don’t mind this time, the reasons for the overspend appear to stack up.
