Isle of Man Constabulary has requested that Manx Viking Wheelers move the Penrice 25-mile time trial to a later date because of safety concerns at the end of TT fortnight.
Police are concerned that having a bicycle event on the TT course while there are still a lot of motorbikes about could pose a serious risk.
Brian Johnson has managed to re-schedule it to Sunday, June 26. All details are the same with the exception that entries will now close at midnight on Tuesday, June 21.
l There is no RL360 Youth Criterium League during TT Week. The next round of the league will be on Tuesday, June 14.
l The second half of the Canada Life International-sponsored 10-mile time trial league begins on Wednesday, June 15 over the Ramsey course.
l Round two of the Manx mountain bike enduro series is on Sunday, June 19 taking in single tracks around the Ballure, Glen Auldyn and Sky Hill areas.
