Have your say

The annual Geoff Quine Memorial Hamper Race is back on this Sunday, December 27.

The event was called off on Wednesday because of a chronic shortage of volunteer helpers, but a lot of offers then came out of the woodwork and organiser Brian Johnson decided to reinstate the event.

Signing on will be between 9am and 9.30am in the Guardhouse cafe at Jurby for a 10am start.

It will consist of four laps of the short Pillbox Road, taking in Sandygate, Summerhill and Jurby East.

Riders wishing to enter need to contact Brian at Cintra, Alexander Drive, Douglas, email or phone 495684.
