COLBY got back to winning ways in the Women’s Football League with a 3-2 victory over DHSOB on Sunday at Glen Road.

DHSOB took the lead through Rachael Warrilier-Grant’s strike but Hannah Leece equalised and Kira Buchan gave the southerners a half-time lead.

Michaela Robinson then doubled the host’s advantage before Hattie Castle made it 3-2.

Douglas Royal still maintain pole-position with a 7-3 win over Castletown. Leading 2-1 at the intermission, Donna Shimmin (5) Kym Hicklin (1 + 1 pen) and Sarah Breen betted for the Ballafletcher outfit, the southerners replied through a Justine Carran hat-trick.

Corinthians maintained the pressure on the top with a 13-0 victory over Rushen Utd. Firing home a 9-0 half-time lead, Shannon Groves (4), Alsivane McGreggor (3), Stephanie hall (2), Kiera Morgan and Megan Loughran netted for the current champions.

Ramsey registered their second win of the campaign with a 4-1 score-line over Peel. Registering a 2-0 interlude lead, Bekkie Colquitt (2), Claire Rose and Lauren Stoutt netted for the northerners, the western response came via an Ellan Cleator strike.
