Corinthians begin defence of Floodlit Cup

HOLDERS Corinthians kicked-off their Warehouse Fitness-sponsored Floodlit Cup campaign with a 4-0 win against Peel on Sunday.

With the match goal-less at half-time, Kiera Morgan, Lauren Christian, Jenna McStay and Alsivarne McGregor netted for the Whites.

In the remaining Group B match, DHSOB edged past Colby with a 3-2 victory. With the scores level 1-1 at half-time, Maria Coulter, Hattie Castle and Rachael Christian netted for the Blackberry Lane side, while the southerners replied via strikes from Courtney Goldsmith and Chloe Swales.

The only league match involving Gymnasium v Castletown was scratched.
