Football fixtures for Saturday, August 18

There have been several changes to the original fixture list for this Saturday’s opening day of the Manx football season.

The Canada Life Premier League contest between Castletown and St George’s is in serious doubt because of an internal dispute (see separate story).

The top flight match between St Mary’s and Marown at the Bowl has been moved from 2.30pm to 2pm so that their combination sides can play their fixture immediately afterwards at 4pm.

In JCK Division Two RYCOB v Braddan will still kick off at 2.30pm as originally stated but will now be preceded by the combination clash between the two clubs with a 12.30pm kick-off while another JCK Combination Two clash, Foxdale v Michael United, will now start at 1pm.
