Mills and Marown go head-to-head for Gold Cup crown

Division Two’s promoted sides face-off at the Bowl this evening

UNION Mills could make it a clean sweep of the silverware in JCK Division Two this evening, Wednesday, when they face fellow promoted side Marown in the Paul Henry Gold Cup final.

The Millers have already claimed the second tier crown and the GH Corlett Woods Cup and could follow the likes of St John’s, Ramsey and DHSOB in securing a Division Two ‘treble’ if they get the better of their opponents from Crosby who finished just two points behind them in the league.

Both teams eased through their semi-final ties at the weekend, Marown beating Foxdale 4-0 on Friday evening and Mills overcoming Onchan 5-1 on Sunday.

Marown have beaten Mills this season in the league, so this may yet develop into another cracker at the Bowl.

Kick-off is 7pm - Twitter updates from tonight’s match @manxfootyblog and full report in Monday’s Examiner.
