The final of this season’s Cu-Plas Railway Cup between St George’s v Peel has been postponed.
The showpiece game had been due to take place at Corinthians’ Ballafletcher ground on Boxing Day (Saturday) as a result of the recent flood damage to the Bowl.
However, the Whites’ pitch has succumbed to the poor weather and forced the Isle of Man Football Association to postpone the final.
It had been hoped that the rearranged final could be played a week later on January 2, but the poor forecast has delayed the contest even further.
At the moment it has been pencilled in to take place on Sunday, January 17 at a venue to be confirmed, although this date is still subject to change.
