WOMEN’S national side player-manager Sammie MacDonald (pictured left) has switched clubs ahead of the new season, moving to Gymns from Ramsey.

Also making the move from the Ballacloan outfit to Tromode is Catherine Kennedy as manager Mark Reid looks to build a squad able to establish a sustained challenge to the traditional title contenders of Corinthians and Douglas Royal.

Ayre’s pre-season recruitment drive continues apace with tenacious midfielder Tony Corlett returning to the Tangerines after a spell at Ramsey Youth Centre and Old Boys.

Corlett is the sixth player to make the move from Scooil Ree Gorree to Andreas thus far this summer.
