St John’s beat Ashley Hill on penalties to lift the Millennium Primary Schools Shield at Garey Moar recently.
The pair were deadlocked at 1-1 after extra-time, meaning spot kicks were required to decide the destination of this year’s trophy.
Ashley Hill beat Peel Clothworkers to advance to the final, while St John’s overcame Arbory in the annual competition’s other semi-final.
Dhoon School were the winners of the small schools’ tournament.
St John’s Finn O’Donoghue was awarded the Player of the Tournament accolade.
The Isle of Man FA Development team of Lewis Qualtrough and Amy Beggs-Cairney added: ‘The tournament was played in great spirits and there was plenty of quality football on show throughout the day.
‘We would like to thank Union Mills FC for their support in hosting the tournament and especially the help of groundsman Stuart Lyon.
‘A special thank you has to also be given to the referees and volunteers who helped out on the day.’
