Corinthians coach takes over from Kevin Manning

CORINTHIANS coach Steve Burns has been appointed the new manager of the Isle of Man’s men’s football team.

Burns takes over from Kevin Manning who retired from the position last week after 15 years and 110 games in charge of the side.

Steve, who has been involved in the island set-up since 2007 as one of Manning’s trusted assistants, will officially take charge on September 1.

Full story in Monday’s Examiner.

What do you think about Steve’s appointment? Was it a shrewd move to promote someone from the current regime or was it time for something different?
