ST George’s and Union Mills will contest May 19’s BCS Vinyl Hospital Cup final in a repeat of last season’s FA Cup final.

Treble-chasing Geordies overcame this campaign’s FA Cup victors St Mary’s 3-1 at Glencrutchery Road thanks to goals from Chris Bass Jr, Ciaran McNulty and Frank Jones. Liam Doyle replied for Sam Kenny’s Bowl outfit.

There was more drama in the competition’s other last four tie as Union Mills upset the form book to beat DHSOB on penalties after the pair had drawn 2-2 after extra time.

Stephen Halsall and Richie Cannell had twice give then Millers the lead only for 10-man Old Boys to hit back through David Quirk and Darren Hudgeon. Derek Cowley’s men, however, triumphed in the resulting shoot-out to book their place in the club’s first Hospital Cup final.
