The fifth round of group matches in this season’s Warehouse Fitness Floodlit Cup on Sunday showcased the four teams that have qualified for this season’s semi-finals.

In the early kick-off at the Bowl, Peel drew 1-1 against Gymnasium. The westerners took a first-half lead through Natalie Swales, however, the Tromode outfit levelled matters in the second half courtesy of an Eleanor Gawne free-kick.

In th latere Ballafletcher derby, Corinthians were yet again victorious by an 8-0 score-line. Leading 3-0 at the break, Melissa Bell (3), Lisa Costain (3) Kiera Morgan and Sarah Kerford netted for the current holders of this competition.
