Wi-Manx Mixed Premier Division

WHITE House Valkyrs A maintained their lead at the top of the Wi-Manx Mixed Premier Division with a 6-1 victory over IoMA Bacchas B on Saturday.

Steven Lowe and Ollie Webster both netted two goals apiece for the westerners with Amy Speed and Andrea Kneen adding further goals. Tony Bentley-Roberts was the only Bacchas player to find the net.

IoMA Bacchas A ensured they remain in title contention with a 3-0 victory over White House Valkyrs B. Goals from Richard le Page, Karl Moore and Sharon Pope proved enough for the Tromode side.

Manx Telecom Vikings B claimed their first point of the season as they drew 3-3 with Celton Manx Celts.

Ash Dougal led the way for Vikings netting a brace with Mark Dougherty rounding off the scoring. Hannah Leece, Kerry Kelly and Don Stewart found the net for Castletown.

Manx Telecom Vikings A claimed a narrow 3-2 victory over Collins Stewart Ramsey A. Goal from Dave Millward, Andy Harding and Steven Crowe ensured Vikings claimed both points on offer. Matt Robertson and James Aitchison were the Ramsey scorers.

Wi-Manx Mixed Division One

Saracens Sabres maintained their unbeaten record with a 5-3 victory over IoMA Bacchas C. Steve Cottier and John Halligan both netted two goals apiece for Saracens with Carly Craine adding a further strike. Andrew Vernon-Browne, Dave Partington and Doug Ross replied for the Tromode side.

Celton Manx Cammags returned to winning ways with an 8-3 thrashing of Collins Stewart Ravens. Paul Kelly led the way for Cammags with a hat-trick, while there were braces for Jack Sleight and Jane Irvine and a single strike for Richard McAleer. No details of the Ravens scorers were received.

Manx Telecom Vikings C continued their winning run with a 5-2 victory over Celton Manx Cushags. Captain Ian Perry got the lion’s share of the goals with three joining Jan and Ken Carney on the scoresheet. Danny Kniveton and Graeme Brown found the net for Cushags.

Honours ended even between HQ Harlequins A and White House Valkyrs C in a match both sides will feel they could have won. Adam Hussey scored for Harlequins with Donna Harrison replying for Valkyrs.

Wi-Manx Mixed Division Two

Manx Telecom Vikings D ensured their 100 per cent record remained intact with a 2-1 victory over Saracens Sharks. Mike McCarrick and James Lowey were the Vikings goal scorers with Keith Watterson replying for Saracens.

Celton Manx Southerners returned to winning ways with an impressive 6-0 victory over HQ Harlequins B. Goals from Dave Clark-Wilson, Dale Williams, Kay Hullock, Sam Spooner and two from Sophie Van-Hooven proved enough for Southerners to claim both points on offer.

Collins Stewart Rookies claimed a 2-0 victory over Celton Manx Cosney despite only having 10 players. Gail Corrin and Raj Nandha grabbed the goals for the northerners.

Wi-Manx Under 16 Mixed League

Celton Manx Castletown dropped their first point of the season as they were held to a draw by Manx Telecom Vikings. James Lowey scored for Vikings with Harry Brindle replying for Castletown.

Collins Stewart Ramsey claimed their first victory of the season with a 3-2 win over White House Valkyrs. No details of the Ramsey scorers were received. Clara Nathan grabbed both goals for Valkyrs.
