MIXED DIVISION ONE CHAMPS: Castletown A

Castletown A clinched the Isle of Man Lawn Tennis Association’s Mixed Division One with a comfortable win against their C team last week.

This in turn meant the C team will be relegated to Division Three for next season.

Hannah Snidal and Rob Mason had a slightly tougher time of it though winning two of their three sets, one against Breed and Macnair 6/4 and the other against Torry and Kerr 6/2.

The C team did manage to nick one set, however, Breed and Macnair beating Snidal and Mason 6/4. Match result 5-1 to Castletown A.

In Division Two Castletown D kept their slim hopes of the league title alive with a 5-1 win at home to Ramsey A.
