Gaels kick season off

Have your say

ELLAN Vannin Gaels kick the new Gaelic Football season off on Saturday with a home tie against English visitors St Ann’s.

The Manx outfit’s Lancashire Junior League encounter with the team from Manchester, will take place at Douglas RUFC’s Port-e-Chee pitch, kicking-off at 4pm.

A cracking opener should be on the cards with the Gaels edging both previous encounters between the two sides.

The Gaels first away trip of the season takes place on April 9 when the islanders will tackle Liverpool-based side John Mitchels.
