Knighter out of ISDE
David Knight
Ballaugh man ruled out of Six Day Enduro on medical grounds
DAVID Knight has been forced to withdraw from the International Six Days Enduro in Germany at the end of the month.
The 34-year-old Manxman has suffered ongoing problems following an incident at the Enduro World Championship round in Finland a couple of weeks ago when the handlebars of his KTM rammed into his abdomen.
Acting on the advice of doctors, David, who spent one night in hospital as a precautionary measure following the injury, has been forced to take the difficult decision not to race in the prestigious ISDE which takes place between September 24-29.
Daniel McCanney and Alex Rockwell are both scheduled to ride for Great Britain in the event, while Jamie McCanney is a reserve.
