No Rest for the Wicked Series

THE No Rest for the Wicked running series, sponsored by Up & Running and Laxey Partners Ltd, continues each evening this week with the exception of Wednesday.

It is possible to enter all of the events on the night, 6.15pm registration for 7pm starts; open to allcomers.

Only those who have raced in either the Sunday’s marathon or half-marathon will qualify for the overall series.

Monday - Peel Hill race (approx 3.5-miles), start Creg Malin car park, Marine Parade.

Tuesday - Northern 10km, sign on Mooragh Park cafe (part of Bushy’s 10km series).

Thursday - Anna-Maria Cutillo Foxdale Six-mile road race, sign on Foxdale School. Open to runners and walkers of all abilities. For more information visit www.manxharriers.com or phone Paul Jackson on 487873.

Friday - Peel Heritage Trail run (approx 7.5 miles/utilising old railway track and coastal footpath), starting from the rear of the kipper factory near the main harbour road bridge.

This race will be followed by the series presentations and buffet at Peel AFC. Positions will be calculated on accumulated times from all runs in either half or full marathon categories.
