The long-awaited Albert Hotel Pink Bag League got underway last weekend, with most players trying their best not to finish last. Winning the first round with 20 points was Chad Wilby, his two for four points on the 1st and birdie on the last securing the win. Second on the back six with 19 was myself, having blobbed the 1st but had seven pars after that. Just missing out were C. Barnes, G. Watterson, D. Kelly and E. O’Brien.
A nearest-the-pin on the 6th has replaced the two sweep this season and this was won by none other than myself with a finely struck three wood. The pink bag was decided by the last players out, finishing in the fading light were Kyle Lunn and Josh Barker, both having 10 with Barker becoming turkey of the week losing out with an inferior finish.
Round two this week and maybe Seamist will avoid buying the coffees for the third week running!
