Former world champion Yrjo Vesterinen is the star attraction for this weekend’s Manx International Classic Trial.
In addition to the 1980s factory Bultaco star, a host of top TT names are entered, including Mick Grant, Steve Plater, John McGuinness and Cameron Donald in what promises to be a memorable competition.
The event includes a total of 220 riders, including 160 on Pre-65 bikes and 60 twinshocks (running at the front of the field).
Competitors are travelling from as far away as New Zealand, USA, Spain, Germany, France, Belgium and Luxembourg to take part.
Saturday’s route cover approximately 30 miles in the south, starting from the Southern 100 paddock at 8.30am.
Vantage points include Billown Glen (8.35am), Cornelly Mines (10.05), Slieau Whallian Plantation (10.25), Carnagrie (11.10), South Barrule Quarry and Gulley (12.30pm), Sloc Corner (1.30), Pooil Vaaish (2.25).
Sunday starts from the TT Grandstand at 8am: Ballanard (8.05), Snaefell Gulley (11.45), Douglas Rugby Club, Port-e-Chee (2.20pm).
