Winter Hill League latest

ROUND two of the Isle of Man Bank-sponsored Winter Hill Running League takes place this Saturday, November 17 over a new 5km course at Glen Helen.

The event will start at 1.30pm with registration from 12.30pm at the main car park. All competitors will be required to fill in a race entry form. These will be available at registration or can be downloaded from Fell Runners Association website fellrunner.org.uk/organisers.php

Competitors are advised to car share if possible as a sizeable entry is expected for this very popular series of races.

The course will be carefully marked but all runners are advised to arrive with enough time to recce the route beforehand.

Minimum age is 12 years.

l The annual general meeting of Manx Fell Runners will be held in conjunction with the 2012 Rentokil Fell League prize presentation at St George’s AFC clubhouse, Glencrutchery Road, Douglas on Friday, November 30 from 7pm.

All current, new and old members, together with all competitors, supporters, volunteers, family and friends are welcome.
