Manxman clinches junior enduro crown in France
DANNY McCanney became the Isle of Man’s latest world champion when he secured the inaugural FIM SuperEnduro Junior indoor title at Tours, France on Saturday evening.
Riding a factory Gas Gas EC300, the 21-year-old Isle of Man Sport Aid Foundation supported rider grabbed third and second places in the final two races of the series to clinch the crown.
David Knight signed off the elite SuperEnduro World Championship with a win to secure the runner-up spot in the nine-race series behind Taddy Blazusiak.
