Moffitt to run Marathon

LOCAL football and motorcycling enthusiast Ian Moffitt is planning the London marathon in 2013 to raise money for two local charities, Hospice Isle of Man and Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation.

The first £2,000 will go to Hospice with the remainder being divided equally between the two charities.

Ian’s future fundraising events include a band night, a snail-racing night at the Manx Arms in Onchan and a surprise event early next year.

Scott Physiotherapy are helping with training while Charles Turner of Intersport has agreed to supply with kit for training and the marathon.

For further details follow him on Facebook by searching for ‘Ian Moffitt doing 2013 London Marathon for charity’ or on Twitter @moffy3785. Alternatively contact him on 203785 or email iancmoffitt@manx.net

All news and info can also be seen on the Hospice Facebook page or @hospiceiom on Twitter. All support will be greatly appreciated and will make a diference to two great charities.
