Manxman Moly lands 16th title in Wednesday afternoon’s Sidecar Race B
DAVE Molyneux and Patrick Farrance completed a sidecar double this afternoon when they clinched the week’s second race from Tim Reeves and Molyneux’s former passenger Dan Sayle.
Ben and Tom Birchall completed the podium at the end of the delayed three-lap Sure-sponsored race.

The latter pairing made an impressive start to proceedings and by Ramsey on lap one held a three-second lead. Reeves and Sayle then took up the race leading baton, moving to the head of the leaderboard as the sidecars headed over the mountain for a first time.
Reeves and multiple winner Sayle continued to set the pace at the front as the teams made their second circuit of the Course.
It was during the second lap that Saturday’s race winners Molyneux and Farrance began to cut into Reeves and Sayle’s lead bringing it down to less than a second at the start of lap three.
Moly’s charge continued and by the time the leaders passed Glen Helen on the third and final lap the Manxman and his passenger from Cumbria were nearly two seconds ahead. The Andreas man continued to stretch the legs of the DMR Kawasaki and steadily built up their lead to more than 10 seconds by the time they’d reached Ramsey.
Reeves/Sayle and the Birchalls tried their best to reel in their rival, but when they crossed the line for Molyneux’s 16th TT win the pre-race favourites held a comfortable 17-second lead.
